The former Member of Parliament for Tema East, Honourable Nii Kwartei Titus Glover, has opened up about a near-death experience he had on a flight.

Titus Glover narrated his experience in the wake of a recent helicopter crash that killed eight people.
Two cabinet ministers, Dr Edward Kofi Omane Boamah, the Minister for Defence of Ghana, and Ibrahim Murtala Mohammed, the Minister for Environment, Science, Technology and Innovation, were reported dead after a helicopter crash in the Ashanti Region on Wednesday, August 6, 2025.
The two were part of a five-member government delegation headed to Obuasi to attend an anti-illegal mining event.
Titus Glover speaks on narrowly escaping crash
Speaking on Adom FM, Titus Glover said he was travelling with five MPs on a commercial flight when the incident occurred.
He said they were returning from Tamale to Accra when the plane developed a fault and they had to make an emergency landing.
Titus Glover said the incident was truly scary and he felt his life was coming to an end.
