Legendary Ghanaian rapper Okyeame Kwame’s son, Sir Kwame Bota Nsiah-Apau, drew attention over his growth and maturity during an appearance at the residence of late singer Daddy Lumba.

Sir accompanied his father to visit the home of the legendary highlife singer, who died on Saturday, July 26, 2025.

Lumba fell ill at his home in the plush Accra suburb, East Legon, and was rushed to the Bank Hospital in Cantonments.

He succumbed to his ailment and died shortly after arrival.

Following Daddy Lumba’s death, dozens of prominent Ghanaians have visited his home to express solidarity with the grieving family.

On Thursday, July 31, Okyeame Kwame paid a courtesy visit to their home to mourn with Daddy Lumba’s family and express his condolences over his passing.

He showed up, followed by his son, who looked all grown and taller than him.

Social media users expressed amazement at Sir’s growth and praised his development into a fine young man.

In a TikTok video seen by YEN.com.gh, Okyeame Kwame’s son addressed bloggers gathered at Daddy Lumba’s residence.

He was asked to state his favourite Daddy Lumba song, but he admitted that he did not have a particular favourite.

Okyeame Kwame’s son was also asked about his thoughts on the singer’s death and said it had made him more aware of his mortality and that of his parents.
