The Deputy CEO of the Students Loan Trust Fund, Kojo Danquah, has opened up about the crash that killed eight Ghanaians, including two cabinet ministers.

The Minister for Defence, Dr Edward Omane Boamah, and the Minister for Environment, Science, Technology and Innovation, Ibrahim Murtala Mohammed, were part of a group headed to Obuasi for a security conference on tackling the scourge of illegal mining, also known as galamsey.

Their trip ended in tragedy when the Ghana Armed Forces Z-9 helicopter they were travelling in crashed into the Sikaman Forest on Wednesday, August 6.

Kojo Danquah speaks on Prophet Roja prophecy

Following the crash, a video of a Ghanaian man of God, De Lighter Roja, warning the defence minister, Omane Boamah, of impending doom, surfaced online.

Prophet Roja said in the video that he had a message to be given to the Defence Minister and that anyone close to him should inform him to give him a call.

The video was shared on TikTok on Tuesday, August 5, a day before the helicopter crash.

Speaking on UTV Ghana, Kojo Danquah said he had seen the video of the tragedy on Tuesday night before he went to bed.

He said he initially wanted to send the video to Dr Omane Boamah, but later changed his mind.
