The Omanhene of the Oguaa Traditional Area, Osabarimba Kwesi Atta II, and his traditional council members have rejected the public apology rendered by media personality Ato Trustworthy.
The Oguaa Traditional Council explained that this is not the first time Mr Trustworthy has disrespected the chiefs and apologised, hence their decision not to accept his plea this time around.

In a video on X, Mr Trustworthy was captured lying prostrate in front of the chiefs as a way to show remorse and beg for forgiveness.
Osabarimba Kwesi Atta II asked Mr Trustworthy if he was their mate since he described him and other chiefs of Cape Coast as small boys.

“Are we your mates? You describe me and other chiefs as small boys. The fact that you have a medium does not mean you can talk any how.”
The angry chief said he would sue Mr Trustworthy in court, so he responds.
“This is not the first time. This time, I am suing you in court to come and explain your action. Enough is enough. You did some before and came to apologise, then you go back and do the same thing.”
“You refer to me as a small boy when my firstborn is older than you. You did not even say it in private, but you said it on TikTok, so the world will hear. I will not forgive you.”
Osabarimba Kwesi Atta II told Mr Trustworthy to hold on to his explanation and give it to the court.
Mr Trustworthy made disparaging comments on his TikTok page, describing the council as small boys among others. Many described his comments as unacceptable and disrespectful.
