Late Ghanaian TikToker Osanju has stirred sadness online after a video of him educating young students about living with cancer resurfaced after his death.

Elvis Frimpong, popularly known as Osanju, passed away on Monday, September 1, 2025, at the age of 30.

Osanju’s landlady, Mama Juu, found him critically ill in his room and rushed him to Mount Sinai Hospital.

He was placed on oxygen and quickly transferred to the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital, where he was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.

Osanju educates students about cancer

The late TikToker battled leukaemia for the final few years of his life and openly spoke about his health challenges in numerous videos.

While his cause of death has not been officially confirmed, the illness likely played a role in his death, as relatives have spoken about him complaining about his symptoms during his last days of life.

Osanju’s willingness to talk about his health challenges extended to him educating young students about cancer.

In a resurfaced clip seen by YEN.com.gh on the Instagram page Ghanafuo Nsem, Osanju was seen speaking to a group of young students about leukaemia.

He explained cancer and how it’s formed in layman’s terms to enable them to understand his message.

Osanju also told the students that there was no cure for the illness and that doctors could only manage it.

The TikToker’s demeanour as he spoke about the difficulties he faced evoked sadness online, as many Ghanaians pointed out the trauma he likely faced battling such a devastating condition.
