A recent video of the late Ghanaian TikTok personality, Osanju Frimpong Elvis, popularly known as Osanju, has thrown netizens into sorrow after reports of his demise were confirmed.
A video that has since gone viral and was sighted by YEN.com.gh on the TikTok page of @yamedia4 showed the deeply moving moment where the late content creator, in an interview, shared how he wished his funeral would be done.

He looked visibly sad as he indicated that he was anticipating a fancy funeral to be held in his memory.

Delving into the details, Osanju stressed the need for less costly coffins and other burial items to be used in his case, emphasising his preference for a simple send-off.
Osanju, who staggered for a moment and became emotional, explained that his reason for hoping that such a thing be done was based on his personal beliefs.
“I want my demise to be sudden. I don’t want to be bedridden. I don’t want an expensive coffin, say GH₵7,000. I don’t want anyone to incur losses. Even if there is a coffin worth GH₵1,000, use that for my burial,” he said.
The vibrant TikToker reportedly died at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital after falling ill on Sunday, August 31, 2025.
Osanju speaks about his health condition
The late TikToker never shied away from speaking about his terminal illness, Chronic Myeloid Leukaemia.
In a video, he admitted to fighting for his life despite being told that his condition had worsened over time.

He also shut down the notion that some supernatural forces were responsible for his family’s numerous misfortunes.
