Popular social media content creator, Elvis Frimpong, popularly known as Osanju, passed away on September 1, 2025, at the age of 30.

He fell ill at his home and was rushed to Mount Sinai Hospital in a critical condition.

Osanju was placed on oxygen and transferred to the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH) in an ambulance, but was pronounced dead not long after arrival.

While he battled leukaemia for many years before his passing, Osanju’s cause of death was not officially confirmed pending the conduction of an autopsy.

In a video seen by YEN.com.gh on the TikTok page of Sabina Safo, Osanju’s family head shared the details of the late TikToker’s autopsy.

He said the doctor confirmed, following the post-mortem examination, that Osanju died from leukaemia, which he had battled for the past few years of his life.

“The doctor conducted the postmortem and told us that he died from the illness he had been battling for the past few years, which is blood cancer, or leukaemia,” he said.

Osanju’s uncle also described his final moments of life as explained by the doctor.

“The doctor told us that after taking his medicine, he was supposed to vomit some blood. But he did not, so that appeared to have affected his chances of recovery,” he continued.

Osanju’s landlady speaks on final days

Following the late TikToker’s death, his landlady, who was close to him, opened up about his final days.

According to her, due to Osanju’s condition, he was aware of his impending death and seemed resigned to it.

She said the day before he died, he asked her for forgiveness and also wanted someone else to join him in his room.

“When I told him I was going to bed, he asked me to let someone stay in his room with him, but I brushed him off because he had told me he was feeling fine. I feel that he knew what was about to happen because earlier that evening, he told us that if he had offended us in any way, we should forgive him because he is family,” she said.

Osanju’s father seeks help for burial

Previously, YEN.com.gh reported that Osanju’s father begged for help to finance the funeral of his late son.

The grieving old man said he had no means of affording an expensive funeral without Osanju, whose fame and fortune he relied on to take care of himself in his old age.
