The widow of the late Ghana Armed Forces pilot Peter Bafemi Anala, a victim of the tragic helicopter crash, has been spotted days after her husband’s burial.

In a TikTok photo shared by Comfort Adjingbaruk, a relative of the deceased pilot, on Sunday, August 17, 2025, Ursula Anala looked a bit cheerful as she spent time with her late husband’s family at her residence.

In the photo, Peter Bafemi Anala’s widow wore all-black funeral attire as she and her husband’s relative posed for the camera in the living room.

Among the noticeable things from Ursula Anala’s hangout with her family was her smartphone, which had the photo of her deceased husband on its lock screen.

Peter Bafemi Anala’s widow also held what appeared to be a rosary, which she has often been publicly spotted with during a few public appearances after her husband’s tragic demise.

Peter Anala’s widow attends his Thanksgiving service

Ursula Anala’s latest appearance comes a day after she and her family attended the Thanksgiving service held for her husband and the Defence Minister, Dr Edward Omane Boamah, who was also a victim of the tragic helicopter accident, at the Christ the King Catholic Parish in Accra on Sunday, August 17, 2025.

The family of the late cabinet minister, along with President John Dramani Mahama, First Lady Mrs Lordina Mahama, and Vice President Professor Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang, were also present at the solemn church event.

At the Thanksgiving service, the president consoled Ursula Anala and offered comforting words as she and her family members mourned her husband’s demise.

The church event was held days after Peter Bafemi Anala, who was posthumously promoted to Wing Commander (formerly Squadron Leader), and five other victims of the helicopter crash were buried on Friday, August 15, 2025.

Two victims, Environment Minister Dr Ibrahim Murtala Muhammed and acting Deputy National Security Coordinator Alhaji Mohammed Muniru Limuna, who were Muslims, had earlier been buried at the same cemetery on August 10.
