Former Vice President, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, has gained applause from Ghanaians following an update concerning young Priscilla.

Priscilla Nonstele became a beneficiary of the politician’s philanthropy program after being abandoned by her biological parents while 2 years old because of her disability.
The former Vice President took her in and also sponsored her surgery. In a new update, Dr Bawumia took to social media, announcing she had started schooling at the Roman Ridge School in Accra. He also indicated how excited he was for Priscilla.
In his post, Dr Bawumia also extended his appreciation to those who took care of young Priscilla. He also shared multiple photos with the young lady in a school uniform.

“Today, little Priscilla, a former resident of the Weija Leprosarium, who was rejected by her parents at age two, reached a new milestone in her life, with her first day at school, at the Roman Ridge School in Accra.
It was an exciting day for her and all who have cared for her including Father Campbell, Donna, and Barbara. Priscilla is such an intelligent girl and I believe she is destined for some great things in life.

Dr Bawumia hailed for school project
Dr Bawumia is known for paying attention to the education of young Ghanaians. During his time as Ghana’s vice president, the Coaltar District of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana thanked him for his pledge and support.
As part of the Church’s centenary anniversary legacy projects, Dr. Bawumia, in 2023, personally funded the construction of a classroom block for Kwaboanta JHS in the Ayensuano District of the Eastern Region.

At the time of his visit, inspecting the project, both the Presbyterian Church leadership and the Kwaboanta community, led by Rev. A.L. Odai and the local chief, praised him for his generosity and thoughtfulness.

Dr Bawumia mourns helicopter crash victims
Still in the act of goodwill, YEN.com.gh earlier reported that Dr Mahamudu Bawumia paid tribute to the victims of the August 6 helicopter crash.
The politician disclosed in a statement that he had personally called President John Mahama after the tragedy.
