Presidential Envoy Entreats Religious Leaders To Submit Prophecies on National Issues for Review

The Office of the Presidential Envoy for Interfaith and Ecumenical Relations directed all religious leaders in the country to officially share any prophecy or spiritual insight of national significance to its office for review.

This directive was contained in a statement issued on Sunday, August 10, 2025, by the Presidential Envoy Elvis Afriyie Ankrah.

In the statement, Elvis Afriyie Ankrah emphasised that the directive specifically applies to prophecies relating to high-profile political leaders, governance, national security, or public stability.

“Any prophecy or spiritual insight of a national nature, especially those with implications for high-profile political leaders, governance, national security, or public stability, should be formally relayed to the Office of the Presidential Envoy for urgent review and appropriate escalation.”

According to the statement, the move is to ensure that proper stewardship exists over Ghana’s destiny, especially in these uncertain times.

It further appealed for all religious bodies in the country to pray for the President, the government, state institutions, bereaved families, and the nation, especially after a recent fatal helicopter crash which killed government officials, military personnel, and NDC party executives.

It further indicated that the government is committed to partnering with faith leaders for the peace and prosperity of Ghana.
