A Ghanaian man has received a lot of praise after he shared his humble beginning before he became a graduate from medical school in 2025.

Taking to his TikTok page, the latest graduate, identified as Prince Duah, shared a carousel showing how he graduated from SHS to the present day as a graduate of the University of Ghana Medical School.
SHS was an interesting time for him, as he received a couple of awards during his graduation. Sadly, life chose a different path for him.
The second carousel explained that two years after graduating from SHS, he was pushed to the street, carrying out labour jobs just to make ends meet. Now, in 2025, he has become more than he was years back, and he is grateful for it.
Prince Duah not only became a graduate from UGMS, he served as the President of the University of Ghana Medical Students’ Association (UGMSA). He also explained that the journey was not smooth as it brought about deep reflection, nervousness and constant prayers.

Ghanaian lady shares humble beginning
In a similar story, a young Ghanaian girl, Nhadrat, celebrated on TikTok after graduating from the Simon Diedong Dombo University of Business and Integrated Development Studies (SDD-UBIDS) in Wa, Upper West Region.
She completed a Bachelor of Science in Accounting after four years of study. Nhadrat, from a humble background, shared videos of herself in white attire dancing to her favourite songs and enjoying her final moments with classmates after their last exam.

In her captions, she expressed gratitude to God, writing “Alhamdulillah” and dedicating her success to her own efforts for enduring years of hard work, tears, and triumphs. She proudly called herself the “freshest graduate from the Tolon and Jegbo family.”
In her words:
“4 years is not easy, Alhamdulillah. BSc Accounting #2024. We came, we saw and we conquered,” she wrote in captions accompanying her TikTok video.
“No more trimester. I dedicate this dissertation to myself for the many years of studying, crying, sweating, and celebrating. To self, it’s been a wild ride. The most important thing to do now is not to panic—I am now a graduate. Freshest graduate from the Tolon and Jegbo family,” she added.
