Popular Ghanaian pastor Prophet Telvin Sowah Adjei has spoken about the tragic helicopter crash that claimed the lives of eight people, including two prominent cabinet ministers, near Obuasi on Wednesday, August 6, 2025.

In a recent interview with media personality Kweku Sampah on Accra FM, the prophet claimed that someone had awoken the “Angel of Death” and warned of more impending deaths in the country after the recent national tragedy.

Prophet Telvin Sowah Adjei also dismissed claims that some sacrifices and spiritual activities politicians carried out during the 2024 elections were responsible for the unfortunate incident.

Telvin claims to know helicopter crash cause

Prophet Telvin Sowah Adjei also shared that he had privately informed the authorities of the events that transpired in the Ghana Armed Forces’ Z-9 helicopter before its fatal crash.

The pastor explained that he had become privy to the information about the cause of the helicopter crash following a spiritual journey.

He said:

“In private, I have told people what happened. I have described it all. I have explained how the helicopter fell and everything in detail every step of the way because travelling through time is simple.”

“We have gone there. We have seen how the plane was crashing. We were inside and outside the helicopter too.”

Prophet Telvin Sowah Adjei expressed his willingness to offer spiritual support to assist the authorities in their investigations into the helicopter crash.

He noted that he would embark on another spiritual journey to gather more information to help the authorities if they approached him.
