The buzz at the Ecobank-JoyBusiness SME Fair 2025 reached a fever pitch on Day 1 as award-winning Ghanaian rapper Edem made a surprise appearance, throwing his full endorsement behind the monumental exhibition.

The rap star’s visit added celebrity wattage to the already massive crowd at the Ghud Park, Accra Mall, and significantly “drummed up excitement” for a Day 2 that promises even more massive sales and high-profile entertainment.

Edem, known for hits like Nyedzilo and his entrepreneurial ventures, toured some of the stalls and applauded The Multimedia Group Limited and its brands for promoting local ingenuity with a fair in collaboration with Ecobank to drive economic growth.

Edem used the opportunity to promote ‘M-Ticket’, a ticketing company under his belt for booking and purchasing tickets for bus travel in Ghana.

His presence served as a powerful validation of the Fair’s impact on Ghanaian enterprise. The rapper encouraged the public to attend Day 2, emphasising the dual benefit of supporting local businesses while snagging unbeatable deals.

Following the massive turnout on Day 1 (Friday, October 31), the Ecobank-JoyBusiness SME Fair is set to elevate the experience on Day 2 (Saturday, November 1), with the climax on Day 3 (Sunday, November 2).
The fair runs from 8 am to 6 pm daily.

Organisers have strategically lined up key features to maximise value for both vendors and the public:
– Exhibitors are rolling out aggressive discounts, with prices slashed by up to 50% on select products and services, guaranteeing more sales for vendors and incredible savings for shoppers.
– Personalised business advice will be available from financial advisors, Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA) experts on tax compliance, and legal consultants. This is crucial for SMEs looking to scale legally and financially.
-The entertainment factor ramps up dramatically with live performances from chart-topping duo Keche, high-energy rapper Tulenkey, and the acclaimed gospel artist Perez Musik, drawing in larger, sustained crowds.
-The public can enjoy complimentary services like free makeup, hair washing, perming, and retouching sessions, ensuring high foot traffic to stalls offering beauty and personal care products.
-With over 160 SMEs in sectors ranging from agro-processing to tech, the dense concentration ensures maximum opportunity for B2B partnerships and bulk purchasing deals.

The fair, spearheaded by JoyPrime and JoyBusiness, is fully stocked with essentials and luxuries alike, including:
- Retail & Home: Footwear, clothing, high-quality detergents, household items, and electrical gadgets.
- Beauty & Wellness: Specialised hair products, cosmetics, and personal care items.
