Daddy Lumba’s manager, Roman Fada, has opened up about the late singer’s last day of life and the reaction of those closest to him to the news of his death

Legendary Ghanaian musician Charles Kwadwo Fosu, popularly known as Daddy Lumba, died on Saturday, July 26, 2025, at the age of 60.
He fell ill at his home and was rushed to the Bank Hospital in Cantonments, where he died.
Daddy Lumba’s manager speaks on his death
In an interview with Stacy Amoateng on her show Restoration, Roman Fada opened up on how he found out about Daddy Lumba’s death.
He noted that he was on air when he started receiving calls seeking confirmation of Daddy Lumba’s death, but he ignored them because it had happened many times previously.
He said after his show he drove straight to Daddy Lumba’s home, only to be confronted with the sad truth.
Roman Fada said he sought confirmation from Daddy Lumba’s wife, Odo Broni, and she confirmed the tragedy.
He noted that she was devastated and heartbroken over the news of her husband’s loss.
