Samira Suleman has taken another giant step in her coaching journey after successfully completing the UEFA A Diploma course.
The certificate, presented to her after months of dedication, is one of the highest coaching qualifications in European football.
With this, she joins a small but growing number of Ghanaian women breaking into elite coaching ranks.

Samira Suleman earns UEFA A coaching diploma
Sharing her excitement on X (formerly Twitter), Suleman wrote:
“Pleased to have successfully completed the UEFA A Diploma. Grateful to my instructors, mentors, and colleagues for their guidance. Excited to keep contributing to the game’s growth.”
This new achievement comes nearly a year after she secured her UEFA Certificate in Football Management.

Last year, she travelled to Denmark, where she spent time with FC Nordsjaelland and Michael Essien.
She also had stints with FC Copenhagen and Lyngby, observing different styles and learning from top-level professionals.
“I had the opportunity to visit these prominent clubs: FC Nordsjælland, FC Copenhagen (FCK) and Lyngby. Overall, the experiences from the clubs provided invaluable insights into different coaching philosophies and strategies that will enhance my own coaching journey. Before stepping into coaching, Suleman carved out a respected playing career.
She began with Hasaacas Ladies before moving abroad to join Víkingur Ólafsvík in 2015, per Playmakerstats.
