Semenyo proved to be one of the best players on the pitch Saturday afternoon, demanding attention for his splendid showing at N17. He made sure Pedro Porro endured a torrid time, constantly troubling him down the flank.
The winger matched Kudus for the joint-highest number of dribbles in the game, showcasing his skill and directness.
In a video shared on X, Semenyo’s mesmerising dribbles, strength, and explosive runs were highlighted, leaving Tottenham with plenty to contend with.
Beyond his attacking flair, Semenyo’s hold-up play and link-up passes with teammates up front posed persistent problems for Spurs, who struggled to find answers throughout the encounter.

Semenyo breaks his silence after Bournemouth defeat
Semenyo reflected on Bournemouth’s impressive 1-0 victory over Tottenham in North London, sharing both his frustrations and positives from the clash.
He told Match of the Day after the win via BBC:
“We had our chances. Overall, we played really well and made it uncomfortable for them,” Semenyo said after the game. “I was frustrated and it was playing on my mind a bit. I need to get myself in those positions to get more chances. I kept focus and got my head in the game.”
Semenyo also praised new teammate Adrien Truffert for his energy and partnership on the pitch.
“We have a good understanding and been training since the start of pre-season. The boy can run!” he added with a smile.
The Cherries’ victory marked back-to-back wins in the Premier League, further underlining their strong start under Andoni Iraola.
How Bournemouth defeated Tottenham
Thomas Frank suffered his first Premier League defeat as Tottenham head coach on Saturday, with Bournemouth earning a deserved 1-0 win in North London, per Sports Mole.
Before kickoff, Spurs unveiled new £51.8m signing Xavi Simons to the home crowd, but celebrations quickly turned sour when Evanilson struck inside five minutes.
From there, the Europa League winners offered little in response, failing to register a single first-half shot while the Cherries racked up 10 efforts and should have been further ahead by the break.

Spurs finally tested Djordje Petrovic in the 68th minute through a Lucas Bergvall drive, but Bournemouth continued to look the more dangerous side throughout.
Late pressure from the hosts came to nothing as Andoni Iraola’s men secured back-to-back wins, following last weekend’s victory over Brentford, while Tottenham missed the chance to move top of the Premier League table.
