Serwaa Amihere celebrates being called to the Bar

Award-winning Ghanaian broadcaster Serwaa Amihere has officially been called to the Bar, marking the beginning of a new chapter in her life.

Taking to X, the GHOne TV anchor expressed deep gratitude as she reflected on her five-year journey to becoming a lawyer.

“40 subjects. 40 exams. Over 2,500 lecture-hours. More than 8,000 hours of private studies and group discussions… Sleepy days and sleepless nights,” she wrote, describing the intense dedication behind her achievement.

Serwaa added that this was a part of her life she had “carefully kept away from the public” while thanking God, her family, and everyone who supported her along the way.

Her post, shared alongside photos in her legal robe and wig, has since drawn waves of congratulatory messages from fans and fellow media personalities.
