Ghanaian dancehall star Shatta Wale has announced a new initiative dubbed the “Project 1 Cedi” campaign, aimed at tackling unemployment among his fan base.
In a Facebook post, the Shatta Movement boss urged his fans to take collective action by contributing small amounts to fund job-creating ventures. “SM fans, let’s start paying our dues and create employment out of that. I am getting too many complaints about unemployed fans. I can’t do it all, but we all can,” he wrote.

According to Shatta Wale, the initiative will be launched soon, and it’s already generating excitement among his followers, many of whom have pledged their support to make the project a success.
