Ghanaian musician Shatta Wale, after performing at Sarkodie’s Rapperholic Concert in Kumasi, flew back to Accra on September 29, 2025.

The musician was spotted at the Kumasi Airport with his crew, preparing to hop on a flight.

Scores of die-hard fans, some in T-shirts promoting Shatta Wale’s ride-hailing service Shaxi, were already at the airport waiting to bid the singer a farewell.

Shatta Wale took time to engage some of his fans. In a video published by Plus1 TV, a young man was seen engaged in a heartwarming encounter with Shatta Wale.

The young man called Shatta Wale his father as Shatta Wale invited him for a hug.

“This is my father. Whenever I see him, I can’t stand. I want to cry,” Shatta Wale’s fan said.

Their emotional encounter ended with Shatta Wale planting a kiss on his fan’s forehead after whispering some words to the young man.
