The streets were flooded with ecstatic supporters who chanted Shatta Wale’s hit songs while jostling for the notes he sprayed into the crowd from the sunroof of his car.
Excited fans scrambled for the cash, with scenes of jubilation and chaos breaking out as the money rained down.
Dressed in a sleeveless white outfit, the On God hitmaker appeared to have recovered from his ordeal with Economic and Organised Crime (EOCO).
Shatta Wale was in Teshie to pay homage to the Gbuglah Mantse, who welcomed him ahead of the cleansing ritual.
The symbolic bath, according to sources close to the star, was part of a traditional rite marking his release from EOCO custody on Friday, August 22, 2025, after being questioned over a criminal case involving his yellow 2019 Lamborghini Urus.
