Nayorigo in the Upper East Region came alive as Stevo Atambire pulled a record-breaking crowd of over 30,000 to the 2025 edition of the Saa Woo Festival.

The electrifying event fused music, culture, and social impact, reinforcing Stevo’s mission to use art as a driving force for unity and development.

This year’s festival soared to new heights with a thrilling guest performance by Afrobeat sensation Kelvyn Boy, whose infectious energy had fans dancing deep into the night. The atmosphere was one of pure celebration, as the festival’s influence continued to expand across northern Ghana.

For the first time, the Chief of Nayorigo, the Upper East Regional Minister, the Municipal Chief Executive of Bolgatanga, and the Member of Parliament for Bongo, alongside other dignitaries, attended the event signifying Saa Woo’s growing stature as a unifying cultural powerhouse.

Beyond entertainment, Saa Woo 2025 carried a strong humanitarian message. Aloobo International Hospital in Namoo offered free hepatitis B screening and vaccinations, ensuring health and happiness went hand in hand.

Stevo Atambire expressed heartfelt appreciation to the people of Nayorigo, sponsors, and partners for their unwavering support. He noted that the historic turnout reflects how culture can inspire peace, unity, and progress when communities rally together.

Once again, Saa Woo Festival has raised the bar for cultural celebrations in northern Ghana proving that when rhythm meets purpose, transformation follows.
