TCL Ghana Company Limited, a leading player in the country’s electronics and home appliances market, is encouraging consumers to prioritise energy-efficient appliances, particularly air conditioners, as a way to reduce electricity usage and cut down on utility costs.

Speaking to the media at the Ghana Air Conference in Accra, which brought together dealers and installers nationwide to explore TCL’s 2025 product lineup, Vincent Azan-Gbiok, Sales Manager at Electroland Ghana Limited, highlighted the benefits of proper installation by certified technicians to prevent malfunctions and ensure durability.

He explained that TCL’s air conditioners are offered in two main types: traditional on/off models and advanced inverter systems.

“The inverter air conditioners can save up to 40% on power consumption. We encourage customers to go for inverter units because they are energy-saving, quieter, and more efficient,” Azan-Gbiok said.

He also pointed out a key feature of the new models: the ability to draw in fresh, filtered air from outside through a dedicated pipe system, ensuring both optimal cooling and healthier indoor air quality.

The company’s initiative aligns with efforts to support households grappling with rising utility costs while promoting cleaner, safer air indoors.
