The music world is mourning the loss of Ike Turner Jr., the son of legendary performers Tina Turner and Ike Turner Sr., who has passed away at the age of 67.
According to TMZ, Tina Turner’s niece, Jacqueline Bullock, confirmed that Ike Jr. died on Saturday at a Los Angeles hospital following complications from kidney failure. She revealed that he had been battling severe heart problems for several years and had also suffered a stroke in early September.
Born in 1958 to Ike Turner Sr. and Lorraine Taylor, Ike Jr. was later adopted by Tina Turner and grew up immersed in the world of music as his parents rose to fame in the 1960s and 1970s.

After Tina’s separation from Ike Sr., Ike Jr. continued to share his passion for music, briefly working as his mother’s sound engineer before charting his own course in the industry.
Despite being the child of two global icons, Ike Jr. chose a relatively private life in his later years, staying away from the limelight that defined his family’s legacy.
He was one of four children connected to the iconic pair. His father, Ike Turner Sr., passed away in 2007, while his mother, Tina Turner, died in 2023.
