
Tributes are pouring in across social media following the tragic deaths of Defence Minister Edward Omane Boamah and Environment, Science and Technology Minister Ibrahim Murtala Mohammed, who died in a military helicopter crash in the Adansi Akrofuom District of the Ashanti Region on Wednesday, Aug. 6.
The two were among eight individuals, including a presidential staffer and security personnel, who perished when a Ghana Armed Forces Z-9 helicopter went down in the Adansi Akrofuom District of the Ashanti Region while en route to Obuasi.
Ghanaians have taken to X (formerly Twitter), Facebook, and Instagram to express their grief and honor the memory of the deceased officials.
