Controversial US-based Ghanaian social commentator Twene Jonas has paid glowing tribute to the memory of highlife legend Charles Kojo Fosu, popularly known as Daddy Lumba.

In a video sighted by YEN.com.gh on the TikTok page of @1man132, he looked sombre and composed, and expressed pain over the passing of the highlife legend.

He then went on to state emphatically that none of the new crop of artistes could match up to Daddy Lumba.

“I expressed my deepest condolences to the family. Daddy Lumba, we will miss you. If you are gone, you are gone with Ghana music. Daddy Lumba is the real definition of Ghanaian music. I am not here singing praises because he is no more; if he were a bad person, I would have said it.

Otumfuo Osei Tutu II’s daughter, Ohemaa Afia Kobi Prempeh, known in private life as Dr. Caryn Agyeman Prempeh, has mourned highlife musician Daddy Lumba after his passing.

The medical doctor appeared in a video seated inside a luxurious vehicle while being chauffeured around town.
