Apostle Isaac Anderson was walking by the roadside in the United Kingdom and, while leading prayers in a Facebook Live Session with his church members on September 23, 2025, his phone was snatched from him.

The live session, moments before his phone got stolen, was shared on social media. In the video, the man of God was releasing prophecies and declarations to his members and praying fervently in the spirit.

While he was leading the live prayer, a man wearing a balaclava quickly rode by on his bike and snatched the phone from the apostle. Apostle Anderson was not able to meet up with the thief as he sped off.

In a follow-up release, Apostle Anderson came out in a statement, commenting on how his phone got stolen. Using his tablet device, he lamented that the phone was an iPhone 16 Pro Max, said to be worth over £1,099 (approximately GH₵18,242).

He let out his frustration that the phone contained a lot of important information and needed applications. He then beseeched his followers not to try to contact the number registered to the stolen iPhone until he is able to retrieve the line.

“So I am believing God for a new one. All my information, my important apps are gone. This is my tablet, so I will go for a new line,” he said.

@2xnmore commented:

“Man was deep in the spirit. Meanwhile, the thief was deep in the streets. Nobody deserves to have their sermon turned into a true crime episode mid-livestream.”

@attrakta said:

“I don’t know why somebody would steal a phone in the UK. The thief can enter a shop and get one easily with no stress at all. Snatching someone’s phone is way more stressful than entering a shop and getting an iPhone 17 Pro Max.”

@Nanaezze wrote:

“After the declaration by Nkrumah, Ghana gained independence, but the Apostle declared and his phone had freedom.”
