His brilliance proved too strong for the competition, as he walked away with 27 per cent of the total votes.

Sunderland’s Dan Ballard finished second with 20 per cent, while Manchester City’s new signing Tijjani Reijnders placed third with 18 per cent.

Ghana’s Antoine Semenyo, who fought through racial abuse to score twice at Anfield, managed nine per cent, while David Raya, Erling Haaland, Chris Wood and Hugo Ekitike completed the list.

After the match, Richarlison added a playful touch online, per Spurs Web.

He posted a picture of himself cropped into the legendary image of Ronaldo Nazário, drawing smiles from fans who compared his goal-scoring form to the Brazilian icon.

According to BBC Sport, Richarlison has now bagged 13 goals in his last 16 Premier League starts, including nine in his most recent nine.

It is the kind of form that Tottenham will hope carries into their next challenge, a daunting early-season trip to the Etihad to face defending champions Manchester City on Saturday, August 23.

Tottenham to sell Richarlison despite hot form

While Richarlison enjoys the spotlight, his future at Spurs has been thrown into sudden uncertainty.

Daily Mail Sport reports that Tottenham are considering including the striker in a player-plus-cash deal to sign Crystal Palace star Eberechi Eze, valued at around £60 million.

The news has surprised many, especially as Richarlison’s goals continue to drive Spurs forward.

Whether the club cashes in or holds onto their in-form striker could become one of the early season’s biggest talking points.

Richarlison playfully claims Kudus is Brazilian

YEN.com.gh earlier shared how Richarlison playfully suggested Mohammed Kudus could pass for a Brazilian after the duo linked up for two goals in Tottenham’s 3-0 triumph over Burnley.

The Brazilian attacker was full of admiration for Kudus, applauding his tireless work and flair, before joking that his style of play fits the Brazilian mould.

Kudus, meanwhile, reflected on the link-up, admitting his cross wasn’t perfect but noting it was good enough to give his strikers the chance to finish.
